A quick proposition

I guess I'll ease into the complex postings by starting off very briefly with my reaction to some news today.

Hour Majority Leader Eric Cantor said any emergency funding for those affected by the tornadoes must be off set by spending cuts elsewhere.

I propose that we reintroduce the legislation cutting the subsidies to the oil companies and reallocate those funds to an emergency fund available for services to assist the victims.

New Beginning

Like many of us, I found myself looking for a new promising employment opportunity in the last few months. Shortly after the initial posting, I found that opportunity and have been readjusting to my new schedule.

Now that I'm settled in, I'll follow shortly with substantive updates.

Gen @, Gen Y, Gen Now

As inaugural posts go, this won't be terribly exciting. Just a brief outline of what I intend to publish here on this burgeoning blog.

I will be publishing policy papers aimed at engaging the youth generation in influencing policy locally and nationally. I see that while many of my peers have clear ideas on where we should part from current policy, they don't have the platform they want in a format they embrace.

I will be offering an abstracted and detailed version of each platform.

I will be offering easily digestible policy papers regarding the frequently indigestible issues affecting our generation.

Putting the 'how to' behind what we want.

Some politics, some cultural, always relevant.
